Uruguay President Jose Mujica has opted to live in a farmhouse on the outskirts of Montevideo instead of the state residence. He also gives 90% of his salary to charity, which amounts to nearly $12,000. "I'm called 'the poorest president,' but I don't feel poor. Poor people are those who only work to try to keep an expensive lifestyle, and always want more and more," Mujica said.
