RAF tanker contract sought by aerospace groups

Two aerospace consortia are vying for the contract to replace the Royal Air Force's old air tanker refueling fleet, each with its own appeal. The one headed by Boeing is offering used, remodeled jets, but at lower cost, while the one headed by European Aeronautic Defense Space, Airbus' parent company, is offering a mix of used and new jets.
