Project RN provides grants for nurses seeking graduate degrees

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield's Project RN will fund graduate degrees for 14 Washington, D.C.-area nurses in return for their commitment to teach for three years, in an effort to increase nursing faculty to help stem a nursing shortage. "We know the key role nurses play in healthcare delivery and promoting the best possible care," one CareFirst executive said.
