China asking about costs of U.S. health reform

Chinese government officials are using President Barack Obama's visit to China to ask him about the possible impact of health care reform measures on the U.S. budget deficit. A CMS study that found the recently passed House health bill would boost government spending to 21.3% of GDP by 2019, compared with 20.8% under existing law, suggests that the measure seems to be "bending the curve the wrong way," writes James Pethokoukis.
