Harrison Ford honored with aviation award

Pilot and actor Harrison Ford received a "Spreading Wings" award from the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver. Ford, 67, received the award for promoting aviation to youth, and he gave a group of children a short ride in a de Havilland Beaver aircraft during his visit. "For myself, aviation gave me the opportunity to learn something new," said Ford. "I hadn't learned anything for a long time, and I wanted to challenge myself with a learning situation."
