MVNO startup aims to keep it Simple

Simple Mobile introduced its U.S.-based MVNO service Monday with a twist: The carrier provides handsets, but encourages subscribers to use their own unlocked phones with a new SIM card. Simple, which has tested 180 devices so far, starts its plans at $40 a month for unlimited domestic calls with a strategy that downplays data in favor of voice services.
