Report shows anti-bullying program is effective

A report from the Highmark Foundation shows that the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program has helped to curb bullying in Pennsylvania schools. Within three months of implementation, the program decreased bullying by 14% among elementary-school students and 25% among high-school students. Schools that participate in the program form bullying-prevention committees, adopt and enforce anti-bullying rules and address bullies directly.
