China moves to further open its domestic bond market

China is striving to expand its domestic bond market by allowing more overseas financial agencies to sell yuan-denominated debt, known as panda bonds. Shi Wenchao, secretary general of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, said China will open up panda-bond sales to more international financial firms with high ratings.
