Architecture billings index gains 2.5 points in October

Architecture firms in the U.S. saw their billings climb 2.5 points in October to 49.4, according to data released by the American Institute of Architects. "There continues to be a high level of volatility in the marketplace, with architecture firms reporting a wide range of conditions from improving to uncertain to poor," said AIA chief economist Kermit Baker.
