Green infrastructure solutions address stormwater challenges

By employing green infrastructure and design, cities can manage and clean up their waterways and bring multiple benefits to residents, according to a report by the Natural Resources Defense Council. The report provides case studies analyzing how 14 cities use these methods. Green infrastructure techniques include green roofs, permeable pavement, rain gardens, street trees, increased green space and rain barrels.
