Study: Sugar policy reform could create 20,000 jobs

A study by researchers at Iowa State University finds reform of U.S. sugar policy would create 20,000 jobs and save American consumers $3.5 billion. "This study clearly shows the impact of the high cost of current sugar policy, but also tells us about the potential for consumers, small businesses and workers to benefit from a better policy," said Larry Graham, NCA president and chairman of the Coalition for Sugar Reform.
