Domestic ethanol output rose to 21-month high 2 weeks ago

American ethanol plants produced an average of 927,000 barrels per day in the week that ended Nov. 8, up 25,000 barrels per day from the week before and the highest in 21 months, the Energy Information Administration said. Domestic ethanol supplies dropped to 15.153 million barrels, down 12,000 barrels from the week before and the second-lowest level on record, the EIA said.
