Foreign investment in Indian shares jumps in November

A surge of foreign investment in India's stock market this month has raised the foreign total to US$16.8 billion so far this year, according to data from the Securities and Exchange Board of India. A brighter outlook for the Indian economy and delayed tapering by the U.S. Federal Reserve are credited for the latest gain.
