IBM makes Watson supercomputer available to app developers

Health care organizations can now use the cognitive computing capabilities of IBM's supercomputer Watson to make new applications after the company made it available as a cloud-based platform. Developer tools, educational materials and access to more than 500 company experts on research, development and design will be available through the IBM Watson Developers Cloud. The platform will also include access to data sources, such as Healthline's health reference library.
