Protein, bold flavors, Greek yogurt continue to bolster the industry, report says

The dairy industry is in a good place, buoyed by rising sales, increasing exports, development of new products and new commitments to sustainability and other issues, according to Dairy Foods' State of the Industry report. Trends in the dairy industry that will contribute to its continued success include the marketing of milk as a source of protein, the production of boldly flavored, artisan cheeses, butters and ice creams and the continued manufacturing of Greek yogurt, according to the report.
