White says SEC isn't afraid to take cases to trial

Mary Jo White, head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, said she would welcome taking more cases to court if companies refuse to settle because they are unwilling to admit wrongdoing, a new policy of the SEC. She noted that the number of trials has declined and that she would like to see that trend reversed.
