McDonald's to cut back on deli sandwich pilots

McDonald's announced plans to end testing of its deli-toasted sandwiches in three of five markets by year's end, opting to concentrate on improving its core menu. The pilot for the $3.99 Oven Selects sandwiches ended in Richmond, Va., and the items will be removed from the stores in Columbus, Ohio, and Louisville, Ky.
