Can early therapy cure autism?

Author Jayne Lytel's son Leo was diagnosed with mild autism when he was 2, but after four years of intensive therapy, many of the traits that prompted his autism diagnosis have dissipated. Researcher Deborah Fein, a University of Connecticut psychology professor, is examining whether such children have actually been cured.
