Michael Browne, managing editor of Home-Based Travel Agent, says the 15 minutes of fame for "Joe the Plumber" may have come to an end, but the presidential campaign highlighted a number of issues facing small-business owners, including travel agents. And while the issues are significant given the economic downturn, most small-business owners are fairly optimistic about their business prospects.
