Green building to flourish under Obama administration

The U.S. Green Building Council has assembled an agenda for President-elect Barack Obama, who pledged sustainability as a top priority on the campaign trail. Obama proposed a plan to make all buildings carbon-neutral by 2030, and to expand federal grants for LEED-certified public buildings. Obama also promised to invest in the nation's infrastructure with the creation of a $60 billion National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank.
