LAX modernization plan unveiled

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and airport leaders unveiled a plan to expand and modernize Los Angeles International Airport, at a cost of at least $5 billion to $6 billion. The project, which is to include a face-lift for the Bradley terminal and a midfield concourse linked by a sky bridge that offers panoramic views over the cross-field taxiway, is scheduled to be complete by 2013.
