U.K. health information watchdog nervous about patient privacy

The National Information Governance Board for Health and Social Care, a U.K. health care watchdog, is worried that a government plan that would allow researchers to access personal files will compromise patient privacy. The government hopes to make strides in research by allowing researchers to pick out patients who would work well in medical trials and research.
