Denmark's banks set to sell $115 billion in mortgage bonds

Foreign investors are expected to bolster demand in Denmark's mortgage-bond market as banks are poised to sell a record amount of the securities. Last year, investors outside Denmark bought about 5% of the securities at annual auctions. This year, foreign investors are expected to purchase about 15%. Prices in Denmark's mortgage-bond market, which is the third-largest in the world, jumped nearly 9% during the past year.
