Kentucky veterinarians volunteer to curb unwanted equine population

Kentucky veterinarians will offer free gelding services for stallions whose owners can't afford to pay for the surgery, as part of an effort to reduce the numbers of unwanted horses in the state. The Dec. 4 clinic is in partnership with the Kentucky Horse Council and the Kentucky Equine Humane Center.
