Philadelphia Eagles take stadium off the power grid

Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia is adding 2,500 solar panels and 100 wind turbines to parts of its roof, facade and stadium rim, enhancements expected to generate all the energy required to power the stadium's lighting and sound system during games. The Philadelphia Eagles expect to save $60 million in energy costs over the next 20 years.
