Health system to launch $680M virtual care facility in Missouri

Mercy plans to open in 2014 a $90 million virtual care facility near its home office in Chesterfield, Mo., which will link providers to the health system's network of clinics, hospitals and patient homes electronically. The health system is investing $590 million in telemedicine technology to help bring the facility online.
