Medicare Part B premiums, deductibles will rise in 2013, HHS says

The standard premium for Medicare Part B, which covers physician, outpatient hospital and some home health services, will increase by 5% a month from $99.90 to $104.90 next year, while deductibles will increase from $140 to $147, HHS announced. Meanwhile, the standard premium for Part A, which covers skilled-nursing facilities, inpatient hospitals and certain home health care, will fall by $10 to $441.
