Poor pregnancy outcomes seen in type 1 diabetes patients

Data on 148,498 pregnant women showed those with type 1 diabetes face a greater risk of spontaneous abortion, perinatal mortality and fetal macrosomia compared with those without diabetes. The findings were published in the Irish Journal of Medical Science.
