Report: Online retail sales see 17% rise in Q3

U.S. e-commerce sales hit $56.99 billion in the third quarter of this year, a 17.3% increase over last year, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Online retail accounted for about 5.2% of all non-foodservice retail sales during the same period, compared to 5.1% in the second quarter.
