Study links breast-feeding with lower childhood-obesity risk

Breast-feeding duration was associated with positive effects on the fat mass and obesity gene in young adults, according to a study in the International Journal of Epidemiology. The findings indicate that breast-feeding may help children who have a genetic predisposition to obesity, one researcher said.
