Tumi aims upscale with Bond-inspired briefcase

Luggage and bag retailer Tumi is looking to capture bigger spenders with a nearly $6,000 bulletproof briefcase inspired by James Bond, an almost $4,000 mixology set created in partnership with Ketel One Vodka and other high-end pieces designed to help expand the brand's accessories business. "It is part of our brand strategy, getting the message across to consumers that we are much more than just a travel company," senior vice president Alan Krantzler said.
