Upcoming common core assessment sparks change in Pa. schools

Pennsylvania's Perry County schools, like others around the state, are transitioning to a curriculum that is aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. District officials say educators feel the time crunch but still are committed to the common core vision. Many students this year will take tests that are aligned with the new standards even though most schools haven't rolled out the common core-aligned curriculum.
