Briggs & Stratton CEO Todd Teske credits diversity in the company's small-engine products and variety in its geographic markets with helping it maintain business during changing weather, according to an interview with Jeff Flock from Fox Business News. "The chances of having every season … every weather pattern kind of not do so well for you is unlikely," Teske said. "Ultimately the diversification helps a lot." The company also hedges on metal prices to help provide pricing stability, Teske added.
