CEO: Whole Foods responds to consumer demand for local, organic

Sales growth in organic food has been robust, while consumer demand for fresh, natural and healthful food is on the rise, Whole Foods Market co-CEO Walter Robb says. Whole Foods has responded by lowering prices and partnering with producers to sell transparent, locally sourced items. Robb is scheduled Thursday to provide the keynote address at the North Coast Food & Agriculture Industry Conference.
