EU approves Bruin Biometrics' pressure ulcer-detection device

Bruin Biometrics has earned the CE mark in Europe for its Subepidermal Moisture, or SEM, scanner, designed to aid in the early diagnosis of pressure ulcers. The device has been shown in clinical trials to have the ability to spot tissue edema accurately up to 10 days before the damage became visible on the skin's surface.
