Gore begins patient enrollment for iliac branch device study

A patient at a hospital in St. Louis became the first to receive W.L. Gore & Associates' Excluder iliac branch system as part of a clinical study of the device. The trial aims to determine whether the implant, along with the company's Excluder AAA endoprosthesis, is safe and effective in treating patients with aorto-iliac or common iliac artery aneurysms.
