Ill. district hosts session to discuss students with food allergies

School officials and parents from an Illinois district recently discussed what schools can do to protect students with severe food allergies. The district plans to establish nut-free zones and nut-free tables in all cafeterias, but some parents are calling for additional steps, including more training, education and consistent procedures.
