Large asset managers criticize federal risk report

The Office of Financial Research, a Treasury Department office that looks for financial-market risks, has released a report saying asset managers could pose broad risks to the financial system. In a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Fidelity Investments said the report "presents an incomplete, inaccurate and misleading view of the asset management industry." BlackRock and Pacific Investment Management have criticized the report as well.
