Natra looking to put Spain on the chocolate map

Natra is integrating Mediterranean ingredients like Spanish olive oil, cheese and wine with chocolate in the hopes of putting Spain on the world's chocolate map. The use of savory ingredients could expand chocolate into different eating occasions, according to the company. "Spain is famous because of its way of eating, healthy food, Mediterranean style and good raw materials. So we wanted to make this kind of link with good lifestyle and chocolate," said Eli Lopez de Bergara, marketing and innovation manager.
