Corporate leaders need a new, more integrated outlook on sustainability efforts in order to successfully advocate for them, write Jib Ellison and Ram Nidumolu. They must learn to combine data-driven arguments with qualitative insights. "This new mindset would see business, civil society and nature as deeply and existentially interconnected, acknowledging the limitations of what can be formally analyzed or valued in the marketplace," they write.
