Report: Continuous training key to IT success in Africa's schools

Teachers need additional training and support in order to properly use information technology in the classroom, according to a recent study of classrooms in Kenya and Uganda. During the course of the study, researchers discovered that schools improved in this regard if the IT implemented was selected and designed with the individual school in mind and if teachers received continuous training and professional development.
