Southwest's new mobile app expands electronic boarding for passengers

Southwest Airlines has introduced an updated mobile application that will let fliers show their boarding passes on mobile phones, according to this article. On Thursday, the carrier will roll out the boarding pass feature for fliers leaving from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas; next year, it will be launched nationally.
