Atlantic Coast orders jets for new low-cost airline

Atlantic Coast Airlines is acquiring 25 new Airbus jets as part of its plan to start a low-cost airline, the carrier announced yesterday. The deal was made despite a request from Mesa Air Group CEO Jonathan Ornstein that Atlantic Coast hold off on aircraft orders until Mesa's takeover bid was resolved.
