GlaxoSmithKline gets green light to sell Advair as COPD drug

GlaxoSmithKline's biggest seller, Advair, has been approved for treating patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. Already used to treat asthma, the FDA said the drug can now be used as a maintenance treatment for COPD patients with chronic bronchitis.
