NASA sets out plans for space shuttle, overall mission

NASA officials said yesterday plans for a new space shuttle launch are on schedule for Fall 2004, although it is still dealing with inspection and repair tools for the spacecraft. NASA is also developing an overall mission vision that includes manned missions to the moon and Mars and an orbital space plane.
