Studies: Cancer stem cells source of some tumors

Two recent studies involving laboratory mice indicate colon cancer stem cells may be the source of colon cancer tumors. The findings, along with earlier studies of leukemia, breast and brain cancers, support the view that potential cancer treatments need to focus on cancer stem cells.
