Investors will look to Fed in shortened trading week

Despite the short trading week, investors are expecting a lot of activity out of the Federal Reserve this week. On Tuesday, the Fed will release minutes from its October meeting and the first economic outlook since announcing plans for increased transparency by Chairman Ben S. Bernanke earlier this month. Investors are still clamoring for another interest rate cut in December, but the Fed has indicated it will hold rates steady.
