Senate passes extension for terrorism insurance program

The insurance and real estate industries scored a victory Friday when the Senate passed a seven-year extension of the federal terrorism insurance program. "We just passed some extremely important legislation that gives breathing room to American businesses," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Reconciliation talks with the House will begin in December.
