FDA clears Naviscan's PEM-guided biopsy device

The FDA has given 510(k) clearance to Naviscan for its Stereo Navigator, a guidance system designed for use with its high-resolution breast PET scanner. Stereo Navigator will allow physicians to guide compatible interventional devices into a woman's breast to accurately target lesions identified through PET.
