New York teacher receives grant for lessons on snow

A Buffalo, N.Y., science teacher recently received a $10,000 grant from Toyota to help his students learn about climate through observation and experimentation. Kenneth Huff was one of 78 teachers chosen for the grant program from a pool of 350 applicants, and said he believes that the in-depth, hands-on approach to learning will keep his students interested in the lessons.
